Added a Download link to the top navigation bar. It currently uses the same styling as the other navigation links. Let me know if you'd like a different color/style to make it stand out more.

Walkthrough

The VitePress navigation adds a Download link to Caido’s download page with documentation-source UTM parameters. The link uses button styling, a download icon, and ^$ as its active-match pattern. Navigation items now support optional button styling and icons on desktop and mobile.

Explanation

The title says a download link was added to the top nav bar. The raw summary confirms a 'Download' navigation item was added to .vitepress/config.mts, linking to the Caido download page, and the PR objectives describe the same Download link. The title matches the main change. It contains a grammar error ("an download" should be "a download"), which does not affect whether it describes the change.

Let me know if you'd like a different color/style to make it stand out more.

Yep! If you can make it the same color as the Contact Sales / Download Caido buttons on the marketing website, that'd be great.

Image
  • Same red color
  • Looks like a rounded button
  • The download icon on the left of the text

Format the changed class binding.

The supplied ESLint result reports a Prettier error on this changed line. The repository lint script runs ESLint with --max-warnings 0 --fix, so commit the formatted form instead of relying on validation to rewrite the file. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Minor · Functional Correctness · Quick win

Increase the hover-state contrast.

The hover state renders white text on var(--vp-c-brand-2), which is #df3259 in this revision. That combination is approximately 4.43:1, below the WCAG AA minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text. Use a darker hover background or a dark text color. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
