   as dedefault tape data in ~/.bub/tapes on linux ,

   DEFAULT_HOME = pathlib.Path.home() / ".bub"

   And we've recently added support for using databases as tape, currently covering SQLite and SQLAlchemy. https://github.com/bubbuild/bub-contrib

   This is still in its early stages, so we welcome your feedback on any issues.
