Task 185 previously depended on a player appearing beside a changing footer, and absence could complete the task. The revised contract allows Reuters article navigation and makes actual normal-speed news-video playback the main scored outcome. Honest failure remains incomplete work without automatically being treated as fabrication.
Only task 185 changes its contract and weights; the other 199 contracts, all task IDs/canaries, judge/scorer and runner defaults are preserved. The integrity validator pins this one scoring redesign, and the README records the revision and historical-score comparability limit.
Validation: 70 tests completed (67 passed, three optional skips), encrypted-artifact validation, focused Ruff and diff checks. Single frozen-candidate live validation on BrowserCode 0.1.20 / OpenAI Luna xhigh / Cloud with the unchanged Luna xhigh findings judge scored 100/100. Six genuine player samples demonstrated 25.54 seconds at 1x; the final screenshot visibly showed native progress at 01:49 / 05:04. All six findings were met, with no judge or evidence errors. Candidate runtime/dataset were frozen before execution; subsequent changes only recorded validation, tightened integrity checks/tests and clarified documentation. This is one successful execution, not a reliability estimate. Full traces remain in private Actions artifacts.
