Do we need to have the copyright file follow the Debian convention defined in https://www.debian.org/doc/packaging-manuals/copyright-format/1.0/#copyright-field? I see we follow that convention in Arrow (eg1, eg2) but not in this PR.

Didn't realize that was a thing. Hmm, I'd like to make this generated instead of having to maintain it separately. I'll have to think about what to do here... |
