Devin comments as a GitHub App, which has no repository permission level, so the slash command dispatcher rejected its /evals with permission 'none'. A separate job now dispatches evals-command.yml for Devin's /evals comments on PRs whose branch is in airbytehq/PyAirbyte. Fork PRs still need a maintainer. /evalscomment on #1399 did nothing. The dispatcher logged:Devin comments as a GitHub App (
devin-ai-integration[bot]). Apps can't be repo collaborators, so the dispatcher'spermission: writecheck always sees "none" for them.Change
slash_command_dispatch.ymlgets a second job,devinEvals. It runs only when the commenter is exactlydevin-ai-integration[bot]and the comment's first line is/evalsor/evals full=true. It then:airbytehq/PyAirbyte. Pushing a branch here already requires write access, so the code under test has the same trust as a maintainer's/evals. Fork PRs still need a maintainer to run it.evals-command.ymlwith the samepr,comment-idandfullinputs the regular dispatcher passes, so progress and results land on Devin's comment exactly as they do for a person.The generic dispatcher job now skips Devin's comments, so it no longer posts the permission error. Nothing else about the other commands changes; Devin still can't run
