The refreshed #264 CI stops at pip-audit because the current main development lock contains msgpack 1.2.2, reported as CVE-2026-114613. Regenerate only its version/hash block to 1.2.4 with uv pip compile requirements/dev.in --generate-hashes --universal --python-version 3.11 --upgrade-package msgpack. All other dependency blocks are byte-identical. This is a separate dependency repair so #264 retains its CI/release-parity scope.

Validation on Linux/Python 3.12.14, head 10ff590, tree ec3afac5f3a26194410b4a3012a6cb1442af8d3f:

• All 91 generated msgpack hashes match the official PyPI 1.2.4 release metadata.
• Hash-required lock installation and no-deps editable installation pass; pip check passes.
• Before: pip-audit reports msgpack 1.2.2 / CVE-2026-114613. After: no known vulnerabilities found.
• Unit/conformance suite: 846 passed, 2 skipped (37.80 seconds).
• Ruff, mypy over 47 source files, configured Bandit and whitespace checks pass. Published tree equals tested tree.

Only requirements/dev.txt changes. No runtime source, dependency input policy, audit suppression, workflow permission or release changes. The audit finding is not a demonstration of a reachable exploit in cA2A. Hosted platform/Python checks and independent maintainer review remain required. After acceptance, dependent branches including #264 need the updated main and fresh CI.

The development-lock-only msgpack refresh retains the dependency closure and hashes. Fresh hash-required installation plus the editable current-head package passed 832 unit/conformance tests (16 skipped), Ruff, mypy (47 source files), configured Bandit, pip check, and pip-audit --skip-editable with no known vulnerabilities. DCO is present. No runtime source change or new hardware assurance claim; remaining maintainer-policy gates are separate.
