WWU ACM Fall 2020 Intro to NumPy Workshop

A short, introductory workshop covering the basics of NumPy by example! Links to other resources included.

Suggested Prerequisites:

  • Some experience with a programming language, preferably Python
  • A basic understanding of matrices (experience w/ Linear Algebra suggested)

  • Why and when you should use NumPy
  • NumPy Arrays, Basic operations
  • A practical application of NumPy
  • Resources for where to learn more about NumPy
  • Data science/ML research at WWU
