Bootstrap now preserves source/version requests and individual package outcomes across retries, reports missing prerequisites and installer causes, and publishes user-scope task results atomically. Timeout and cancellation cleanup checks task state before removing supporting files.
State writes are atomic, one process owns the runtime directory, and corrupt state stops the run without losing evidence. Sophia downloads and cached files are checked against the pinned release SHA-256; optional oscdimg downloads require an independent expected digest.
Validation: 40 targeted Pester fixtures passed across the affected workflows. The generated user-scope runner also passed under Windows PowerShell 5.1. The real Sophia 7.3.0 asset matched its published SHA-256. System operations used isolated fixtures; no real installers were run.
