Why

Snowflake (CLIENT_APP_VERSION and User-Agent), Kafka (ClientSoftwareVersion in ApiVersions) and the Copilot language server (editorPluginInfo) were told every TablePro build was 1.0.0.

Change

  • Snowflake and Kafka send their plugin bundle's CFBundleShortVersionString, which equals the app's version under the release train (Bundle(for:), object(forInfoDictionaryKey:)).
  • Copilot's editorPluginInfo sends Bundle.main.appVersion, the same value its editorInfo already sent.
  • Plan Cleanup, Folded: "After step 23 (fix(plugins): report the TablePro version to Snowflake and Kafka)".

Verified

  • CopilotLifecycleTests has a new case that fails on main ("1.0.0" against the host's version).
  • AllPlugins builds; the built KafkaDriverPlugin carries CFBundleShortVersionString 0.0.0-dev, which matches Kafka's client software version pattern. Snowflake and Kafka are registry-only, so they have no test target (.claude/rules/tests.md).
