## 6. Non-Facade Mechanized Solvers & AST Code Synthesizer

The GödelOS implementation avoids placeholder heuristics or narrative formatting through genuine mechanized decision procedures and an authentic Python AST self-modification pipeline:

### 6.1 Exact Fourier-Motzkin Presburger Solver (`godelOS/solvers/qf_lia_solver.py`)
- Formulates inequalities in standard form $\sum c_i x_i \le b$.
- Performs exact Fourier-Motzkin elimination over polyhedral projections using exact rational coefficients (`fractions.Fraction`).
- Formally verifies deductive entailment:
$$\Gamma \models C \iff \text{SAT}(\Gamma \cup \{\neg C\}) = \text{UNSAT}$$
- Derives contradiction bounds $0 \le -1$ to construct refutation proofs.

### 6.2 Stratified Function-Free Datalog Engine (`godelOS/solvers/datalog_solver.py`)
- Verifies rule safety: all variables in the head and in negated body literals must appear in positive relational body literals.
- Constructs relational dependency graphs and detects unstratified negation recursion cycles.
- Computes the unique minimal Herbrand model via stratum-by-stratum semi-naïve fixpoint iteration.

### 6.3 Exact Discrete Lyapunov Solver (`godelOS/solvers/lyapunov_solver.py`)
- Verifies 1D quadratic error dissipation $V(e) = p \cdot e^2$ with update rate $\alpha \in (0, 1] \cap \mathbb{Q}$, certifying dissipation rate $\gamma = \alpha(2 - \alpha) > 0$.
- Verifies $n$-D linear state-space asymptotic stability for $x_{t+1} = A x_t$ by solving the discrete Lyapunov equation $A^T P A - P = -Q$.
- Evaluates matrix positive definiteness ($Q \succ 0$) via Sylvester's Criterion on all leading principal minors using exact rational determinants.

### 6.4 AST Safety Validator & Sandboxed Hot-Swapper (`godelOS/code_synthesizer.py`)
- Static AST Analysis (`ASTSafetyValidator`): Parses Python syntax into AST nodes, whitelisting pure computational constructs while strictly blacklisting imports, globals, nonlocals, dunders, and dangerous builtins (`eval`, `exec`, `open`).
- Sandboxed Test Execution (`SandboxedExecutionTester`): Compiles candidate AST in isolated namespaces and tests against rigorous input-output test vectors with millisecond timeouts.
- Dynamic Object Hot-Swapping (`AtomicCodeHotSwapper`): Transactionally replaces method and function pointers on live running engine objects with automated rollback if post-swap trial execution fails.
