  • Canonical agent guidance lives in .agents/AGENTS.md
  • AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md in the repo root are symlinks to that file
  • Cleaned up heading and description to be agent-agnostic (removed Claude Code–specific wording)
  • Folded the Remembered notes from the root AGENTS.md into .agents/AGENTS.md

Adds a new canonical agent guidance file .agents/AGENTS.md with detailed instructions and conventions for coding agents. The root-level AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md files are replaced by symlinks pointing to this canonical file to centralize and unify guidance. The content is cleaned up to be agent-agnostic and includes folded-in remembered notes from the previous root AGENTS.md. Review focus should be on the completeness and clarity of the guidance content and the correctness of the symlink setup.
