Carries the no-MID grid fix (#216, refs #215). The changelog entry is already under Unreleased, as a beta gets no heading of its own. span-panel-api stays 3.8.0b1 and schema-0 stays 1.3.0b1; the adapter's floor on span-panel-api>=3.8.0b1 and the core's schema-1 extra floor on 1.4.0b1 both still hold.
