Use the registry deprecated category and the label Deprecated / 已弃用. Keep the SemiAnalysis watermark identical to main and reserve a separate lower plot band so the marks cannot overlap. Summary
Inference charts for every model in the deprecated group now show two large “Deprecated” background watermarks (“已弃用” in Chinese). The labels use 30% opacity for clearer contrast and sit in separate bands above and below the existing SemiAnalysis logo, without overlapping it. The SemiAnalysis logo's renderer, size, opacity, position, and domain behavior match main.
The status follows the shared model category, stays fixed during zoom, and survives PNG export and unofficial overlays. Active, maintenance, experimental, and hidden models do not receive it. The shared renderer covers inference scatter plots, GPU comparisons, power timelines, and replay scatter plots.
View/API coverage: This is presentation only. The existing
/api/v1/views/optionscategory supplies the same model status; API values and filters are unchanged. The API reference and packagedinferencex-skillsguide document the watermark.Validation: The full CI E2E matrix passed in Chrome and Firefox. The local smoke suite passed all 99 integration tests. Local browser checks passed for every deprecated model, active-model exclusion, unofficial overlays and dismissal, and Chinese mobile rendering. A local test using the official hostname with fixture data verified both labels in the PNG export; the image was visually checked to confirm clear separation from the unchanged SemiAnalysis logo.
