One source commit based directly on
dependabot/npm_and_yarn/src/express/express-compat-suite/node/multi-f792d6d6d9. Ports a semantic façade compatible with this older logger backend, removes legacy macros, and migrates every call site. Source-only refactor; no CI/build or RPATH/RUNPATH work.
