A light theme for Omarchy, built from
scampilot.de.
White canvas, deep indigo ink, brand yellow.
omarchy theme install https://github.com/Pixel-Process-UG/omarchy-scampilot-themeOmarchy strips the omarchy- prefix and the -theme suffix, so this lands as
scampilot and applies immediately. To switch back to it later:
omarchy theme set scampilotTwo backgrounds ship with the theme. Cycle them with omarchy theme bg next.
scampilot.de names its whole palette, so most of this is lifted straight from the site:

#FFD02F is the site's theme-color and the first thing you notice on the
page, but it scores 1.47:1 against white. On scampilot.de it is never text. It
is a highlighter swipe behind ink, and the buttons are indigo.
So the theme uses it the same way, in the two places that need no contrast ratio at all:
selectionis#FFF6CC, the site's own highlight tint, so selecting text in your terminal looks like the marker stroke on the homepage.hyprland_active_borderis a#FFD02Fto#F5C500gradient, which puts the brand yellow around your focused window.
accent is brand-blue instead, because Omarchy also uses accent for
selected text in the shell, where yellow would be unreadable.
The site pairs each playful brand colour with a darker counterpart, so the
bright_* slots take the brand values and the base slots take the darker
ones. Seven of the eight base colours clear 4.5:1 on white.
yellow is the exception at 4.60 only because I darkened it to #A06A12.
A readable yellow on white is a known problem for light themes: the stock
Omarchy light themes sit at 2.0 to 2.5 here, so this is deliberately stricter
than the neighbours, at the cost of reading more like gold than lemon.
See preview.png for every value.
Both are 3840×2160.
1-verdict.png rebuilds the homepage hero, marker swipe and all.
2-highlighter.png is the quiet one, and puts the same swipe behind the
product name.
Only colour.

colors.toml drives everything else. Omarchy generates the configs for
Alacritty, Ghostty, Kitty, foot, btop, helix, Neovim, VS Code, Obsidian,
Chromium and the Omarchy shell from it through its own templates.
That is deliberate. Omarchy drops any file that runs code from a theme you
install with omarchy theme install, which means every *.lua, the four
terminal configs and vscode.json. This theme ships none of them, so a clone
gives you what you would get writing the theme by hand: an aether.nvim
colourscheme and a VS Code theme generated on your machine from the palette
above, rather than a third-party colourscheme that only comes close.
