Description

Implements backend support for the Listing and Bidding Platform Dashboard by adding the new listingAndBiddingAdvancedAccess permission to createInitialPermissions.js.

Implements # WBS 5.1

Related PRS (if any):

  1. This backend PR is related to the upcoming frontend PR for the Listing and Bidding Platform Dashboard persistent header and navigation routes.

Main changes explained:

  • Update src/utilities/createInitialPermissions.js to include the listingAndBiddingAdvancedAccess permission, ensuring it is automatically assigned to Administrator and Owner roles upon server startup.

How to test:

  1. Check into the Linlin_impl_lbdashboard_permissions_backend branch.
  2. Run npm install and start the backend locally (npm start).
  3. Verify that the server initializes successfully and writes the new listingAndBiddingAdvancedAccess permission into the database.

Note:

This is part of the backend foundation required for the Listing and Bidding Platform Dashboard permission-aware features.
