Make the flows visible. Then design incentives that don't depend on price.

I'm interested in how resources, money, rights, and responsibilities move through networks of identities—and how institutions can remain functional when price alone isn't enough to motivate participation.
My long-term focus is public welfare and local government. I explore how systems allocate resources, distribute authority, establish accountability, and create incentives for cooperation.
I'm less interested in wealth as an end in itself than in the rules that govern how it is created, allocated, and used. I want to understand who can do what, who bears the costs, who is accountable, and what makes participation worthwhile.
-
Make flows traceable. Build ledgers, accounts, transaction histories, and provenance records. A system is difficult to understand or audit if its flows cannot be followed.
-
Design beyond price alone. Explore how qualifications, permissions, roles, reputation, and shared decision-making can complement monetary incentives.
-
Test in a sandbox first. Build small, runnable systems—such as a Minecraft economic simulation—to make rules executable, observe their behavior, and find problems before considering real-world applications.
-
Connect models to real public data. Work with municipal finances, infrastructure, and labor statistics, while making source quality and data limitations explicit.
