Description

Updating third-party/libvirtualhid from bac3237 to merged commit 9f4cac3 brings in LizardByte/libvirtualhid#218. Windows now preserves the extended-key marker when translating volume, media, browser, and application-launch keys, so volume down/up no longer become C/B.

Add a Sunshine test for the reported F17/F18-to-volume mappings through the platform adapter, covering press/release and both normalized and native keycode packets.

Roadmap Issues

Testing

  • MSYS2/UCRT64 configuration passed: cmake -S . -B cmake-build-release.
  • Native build passed: cmake --build cmake-build-release --target sunshine test_sunshine -j 6.
  • All 24 tests passed with --gtest_filter=KeyboardPassthroughTest.*:VirtualHidDeviceTest.TranslatesMouseAndKeyboardInput:VirtualHidDeviceTest.PlatformWrappersForwardToVirtualHidContext.
  • The included upstream fix has regression tests for scan-code translation that fail without the fix; the Sunshine test verifies the reported F17/F18 mappings through its platform adapter.
  • uv lock, uv sync --locked, uv run --locked lb-update-clang-format, clang-format --dry-run --Werror tests/unit/test_keyboard.cpp, and git diff --check passed. The tooling lock file is unchanged.

Installed-driver and end-to-end Moonlight validation were not run.
