None. Routine catch-up ahead of a series that adds path-based job skipping to the project CI.

Why is this change necessary?

The template was pinned at copier-base-template v0.1.21. Base has since released v0.1.22 (#238) and v0.2.0 (#239). Pulling them on their own keeps the upcoming CI changes to a diff that contains only that work.

How does this change address the issue?

task copier-update to v0.2.0, applied without conflicts. It brings:

  • post-review-comment.py in the address-pr-comments skill, with the shared helpers moved into utils.py
  • on-create-command-boilerplate.sh disables the Biome VS Code extension in nested workspace folders
  • the PR template's verification section reworded around what the evidence establishes
  • coderabbit VS Code extension 0.23.0
  • the devcontainer context hash recomputed by the pre-commit hook

What side effects does this change have?

Downstream projects receive the same files on their next copier update. Rendered CI workflows are unchanged.

How do we know this works?

The update produced no .rej file, so every hunk applied to an unmodified region. The lint-matrix job renders the template with both data files and runs pre-commit on the result, which pins the template-side copies of the changed files. Nothing here has runtime behaviour beyond the devcontainer boilerplate script, which only writes a settings file into nested workspace folders.

📝 Walkthrough

The PR adds an inline review-comment CLI and a shared GitHub API posting helper used by reply scripts. It also updates nested-workspace setup, the devcontainer extension pin, Copier metadata, and the repository and template pull request verification prompts.

Changes: Inline pull-request comments

Layer / File(s) Summary
Shared API posting and reply integration
.claude/skills/address-pr-comments/utils.py, .claude/skills/address-pr-comments/post-reply.py, template/.claude/skills/address-pr-comments/utils.py, template/.claude/skills/address-pr-comments/post-reply.py
The shared helper reads the body file, posts it with optional fields, reports the response URL, and deletes the file after success. Both reply scripts delegate posting to the helper.
Inline review comment CLI
.claude/skills/address-pr-comments/post-review-comment.py, template/.claude/skills/address-pr-comments/post-review-comment.py, .config/.copier-answers.yml, .config/.copier-managed-files.json, copier.yml
The new CLI validates line ranges, resolves repository and commit details, and posts review comments. Copier metadata and executable-permission handling include the new script.

Devcontainer workspace setup

Layer / File(s) Summary
Nested workspace settings and extension pin
.devcontainer/on-create-command-boilerplate.sh, template/.devcontainer/on-create-command-boilerplate.sh, .devcontainer/devcontainer.json, template/.devcontainer/devcontainer.json.jinja
The on-create scripts add Biome-disabled settings to eligible nested workspace folders only when the settings file is absent. The CodeRabbit VS Code extension pin changes to 0.23.0, and the devcontainer context hash changes.

Pull request verification guidance

Layer / File(s) Summary
Verification prompts
.github/pull_request_template.md, template/.github/pull_request_template.md
The templates replace the “Test plan” prompt with questions about verification evidence, results with broken or reverted code, and uncovered areas.

Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to bad84

The new comment-posting helper can fail after posting if GitHub returns unexpected JSON, which could lead to a duplicate comment on retry. This is unlikely and low impact, so the PR is mergeable with a small follow-up fix.

📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Replace the ternary with an explicit if/else. The coding guideline forbids ternaries in non-test code because they hide branches from coverage.py.

  • .claude/skills/address-pr-comments/post-review-comment.py#L70-L70: use if args.start_side is None: and else: blocks that assign string_fields["start_side"].

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Replace .get() with explicit branches and handle non-dict JSON. The code uses .get("html_url", default), which the guideline forbids. A non-dict JSON response raises AttributeError after the post succeeds. The body file is then not deleted, and a retry posts a duplicate.

  • .claude/skills/address-pr-comments/utils.py#L97-L99: parse into payload, check isinstance(payload, dict), then use an explicit if "html_url" in payload branch.
  • template/.claude/skills/address-pr-comments/utils.py#L97-L99: apply the same change.
