When running orchcli init, the CLI currently clones the UI and Core repositories into the directory where the
orchcli binary is installed (e.g., /usr/local/bin/), rather than the user's current working directory. This causes
several issues:
- Permission Issues: The binary location may require elevated permissions
- Project Organization: Users expect repos to be cloned in their current directory
- Multiple Projects: Cannot manage multiple projects in different directories
- Unexpected Behavior: Commands like
npm install run in the wrong location
