Kopuz-org

we make a music player. rust, dioxus. that's the org.

Kopuz is a desktop music player named after an ancient Turkic string instrument, because we thought it sounded cool. it plays your local folder full of flacs you will never listen to, your Jellyfin server, your Subsonic/Navidrome server, YouTube Music, SoundCloud and Spotify. all of it.

nix flake, nixpkgs, flatpak, AUR, homebrew cask, AppImage, .rpm, .deb, .dmg (only aarch64 darwin), cargo install kopuz, or clone it and build it yourself like a real one. it is all in the repo readme.

find a bug, open an issue. or skip that entirely and send the pr, we merge stuff. translations are the easiest way in: drop a new .ftl in crates/i18n/locales/ and CI will yell at you until it matches en.ftl, which is honestly a great onboarding experience.

real talk happens in Discord. that is where features get argued about, screenshots get posted, and someone reports that it broke on their specific arch setup at 3am (use nixos btw we support the best for it). come hang.
