Making useful things for curious people.
I'm a Principal engineer at Microsoft, where I work on web performance, telemetry and security for Microsoft 365. Outside work I build small open-source tools with clear interfaces, mostly under @cascadiacollections, my independent studio in the Pacific Northwest.
- ShoutKit: free, open-source internet radio with no accounts, no tracking and no API keys. iOS (Swift; the app is called Holmdel) · Android (Kotlin)
- lazydeck: a lazydocker-style terminal UI for managing a fleet of Steam Deck and Steam Machine devkits (Go)
- godot-xdg-portals: Linux desktop portals for Godot games (GameMode, idle inhibition, power-saver, URI opening, notifications), and it works in Flatpak
- godot-device-power: a Godot 4 addon that sets a frame cap and display refresh rate from power source, battery saver, thermal status and Android game mode
