### `MCP_INSTRUCTIONS`

The `MCP_INSTRUCTIONS` variable controls the `instructions` field returned in
both the legacy `initialize` result (`2025-11-25`) and the modern `server/discover`
result (`2026-07-28`).

Example:

The `MCP_PROTOCOL_MODE` variable selects which MCP revision(s) the server
speaks, without rebuilding or editing the entrypoint:
