Terminal TUIs that enable mouse reporting consume text drags, preventing users from selecting output. Distinguish clicks from drags so mouse and trackpad selection, right-click copying, and native word selection work while app clicks and scrolling remain available. Cancel Option-tap tracking during pointer gestures.

Prepare terminal-host 0.4.2 and extension 0.4.1 (Safari build 10), keeping DSH 0.4.0 and connector protocol 1. The host release also includes CLI changes merged since terminal 0.4.1; the extension includes the acknowledged mode-click fix since extension 0.4.0.

Validation: complete pnpm release:audit passed (393 tests passed, one existing optional test skipped), including reproducible archives, isolated package installation and real shell input/output. Real Chrome verified direct dragging, reverse Chinese selection, clipboard contents, app clicks and scrolling with mouse reporting off and modes 1000/1002/1003. Both platform event branches and interrupted gestures have regression coverage.
