Associated with the PR #2848 on the Neko side, allowing streaming in
realprecision. ExtremeFLOW/neko#2848
Essentially just inquires the variable to find out which type it's receiving and instantiates the ndarray with the correct type, so the user doesn't have to specify themselves which type they are recieving.
