The real DAV-53 isolation run retained only
ModelProtocolError, losing the safe diagnostic needed to distinguish malformed JSON, response shape, and truncation. Preserve the adapter's existing shape-only message asprotocol_errorin failed scenario evidence; model text, failure verdicts, billing, and skipped scenarios stay protected by the existing behavior.Validation: two new regressions first failed with missing diagnostics. The implementation passed 198 remote isolation/delivery-gate/revalidation checks and a focused code review. Documentation and its corpus version are updated. No paid calls were repeated; this change does not claim real-model acceptance.
