Resolve PR5968's independent-output question with exact two/three adapter minima, complete local accounting and independent dirty-input checks. Prepared for @CubeJerry with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance. Credit Nick Petalas, commdata2338 and the retained restoration lineage. No new kappa.

Four mandatory two-XOR children have exact adapter minima 2 with one hidden intermediate output and 3 with full observation: complete bills 10 versus 11. Both dirty workspace inputs return; the two output updates are independent. Resolves PR5968's rank-two question. No new κ.
Base: 721c038.
Inputs: base-pinned PR2020/PR5968 contracts. Exact Git/SHA256 pins, proof, recurrence, seed-57 search coverage and limitations: research package.
Reproduce:
python3 -B scripts/research_package.py --package research/rank-two-observation-boundaryExpected: PASS_RANK_TWO_OBSERVATION_BOUNDARY (rank=2, partial=2, full=3), PASS_RANK_TWO_BOUNDARY_FAULTS and PASS_REGISTERED_RESEARCH_PACKAGE.
Passed: 571 shorter schedules, 9,136 independent Boolean executions / 18,272 contract checks; normal/optimized modes; 18 private-copy fault rejections (omitted restoration, changed reader, visible hidden output, corrupt source and receipt). Committed bytes/history/modes and export integrity pass; Git-free normal/optimized replay leaves all 12 exported files unchanged.
Scope: fixed indivisible children, six adapters, characteristic two. Actual caller/observer, native, tape, ownership and precision costs remain open; all five framework assumptions remain. No unrestricted circuit optimum, selected cold replay, hosted CI or proof-kernel acceptance claimed.
Remote commit 539d361; complete tree 41793a01bb042a924a0d4ea260fdebb26515d82a equals the tested tree.
