Ordinary convergence attempt from repaired #876 into historical #878. GitHub reports a real conflict across the 204-commit-diverged historical tree, so this integration PR has no independent product delta to preserve and must not be bypassed.
Reconstruction continues in #1033: live #876 is first parent, historical #878 commit
617b97126a14337a4848f2b5663ada381ae693c0is preserved as second-parent ancestry, and only the executable comparison-criterion coordinate contract is carried into the repaired tree until the prerequisite chain is GREEN.
