fix/codeql-versioned-handler-bootstrapas an ordinary two-parent descendant. Preserve both semantic histories; do not force-push, rebase, squash away #2106, or transfer predecessor checks/reviews. After merge, #2106 requires fresh exact-head validation and independent review.
