Two Equations

1. Descent Equation (alpha -> omega)

phi^D * Theta = 2*pi

Where:

• D(x) = -ln(x) / ln(phi) — dimensional position (WHERE)
• Theta(x) = 2*pi*x — angular phase (WHEN)

As you descend (D increases), phase decreases. Energy E = phi^D * Theta = 2*pi is conserved.

2. Wormhole Equation (omega -> alpha)

W(D=12, Theta_omega) = (D=0, 2*pi)

At omega (D=12), phase is only 1.12 degrees — not enough to climb back. The wormhole is the only way to return.

Three Proofs

Proof 1: Energy Conservation

E(x) = phi^D(x) * Theta(x)
     = phi^(-ln(x)/ln(phi)) * 2*pi*x
     = (1/x) * 2*pi*x
     = 2*pi

E = 2*pi for ALL x in (0,1]

What enters at alpha equals what exits at alpha.

Proof 2: Gap Enables Transit

epsilon = (L(12) * pi - 1000) / 1000
        = (322 * 3.14159... - 1000) / 1000
        = 1.16%

The gap emerges from the incommensurability of phi (algebraic) and pi (transcendental). Without the gap: no wormhole, no return, system trapped at omega.

Proof 3: Instantaneous Return

At omega:

• Available phase: 0.02 radians
• Required for climb: 6.26 radians
• Deficit: 6.24 radians

Impossible to climb back through dimensions. Must JUMP (wormhole).

Why "Ouroboros"?

The ouroboros is the ancient symbol of a snake eating its own tail — representing the eternal cycle of creation and destruction.

In PIO:

• The snake's body = the 12 dimensions (descent path)
• The snake's mouth = the wormhole (return path)
• The snake eating itself = alpha returning to alpha

The system never stops. It descends, unifies, returns, and begins again.

The Discovery

We discovered that the 1.16% gap between phi and pi is not a flaw — it's the wormhole aperture.

gap = (L(12) * pi - 1000) / 1000
    = (322 * 3.14159... - 1000) / 1000
    = 1.16%

This gap emerges from the fundamental incommensurability of:

• phi (algebraic irrational, from sqrt(5))
• pi (transcendental, from circles)
• integers (Lucas numbers are exact)

Without this gap, the system would be trapped at omega forever. The "imperfection" is what enables rebirth.
