Unauthenticated viewer clicking emoji reactions in share toolbar does not prompt sign-in overlay #2976
When viewing a video on the share page (/s/<videoId>) as an unauthenticated or logged-out viewer, clicking any of the emoji reaction buttons in the toolbar (😂, 😍, 😮, 🙌, 👍, 👎) produces no response or UI feedback.
In contrast, other viewer interactions on the same toolbar and page (such as clicking the Comment (c) button or clicking the Activity tab's comment composer) prompt the AuthOverlay modal ("Sign in to comment - Join the conversation.") allowing the user to sign in and engage.
Root Cause
In apps/web/app/s/[videoId]/_components/Toolbar.tsx, handleEmojiClick previously checked:
if(!canReact||!user)return;
If !user, it silently returned early without opening AuthOverlay.
Reproduction
Open /s/<videoId> in an incognito window or while signed out.
In the bottom toolbar, click on any reaction emoji (😂, 😍, 😮, 🙌, 👍, 👎).
Notice that nothing happens.
Click the adjacent Comment (c) button — notice the AuthOverlay modal opens immediately.
Expected Behavior
Clicking an emoji reaction while signed out should prompt the AuthOverlay dialog so the user can authenticate and react.
