Summary

Needs You now lists a Task whose persisted record holds an unresolved pull-request creation (pr_create_unconfirmed) while no PR operation is running for that Task. The reason reads PR creation outcome unknown. It does not claim that no pull request exists, because SlashIt cannot yet prove that either way.

Changes

  • crates/slashit-attention adds the PrCreateUnconfirmed reason. Its precedence sits below the Human Review reasons and above a confirmed PR-creation failure. The Task is listed while idle and is suppressed while a PR operation is in flight for it.
  • src-tauri/src/domain/task.rs persists the unresolved record and round-trips it through TOML and JSON.
  • src/models/task.rs mirrors the record in the frontend model.
  • src/components/attention.rs gives the new reason its chip styling.

Validation

Run on the change before publication:

  • slashit-attention tests: 21 passed.
  • slashit-ui tests filtered to unconfirmed pr_create round_trips: 43 passed.
  • slashit-frontend tests filtered to unconfirmed attention: 22 passed.
  • cargo clippy for slashit-ui and slashit-attention: exit 0. The existing warnings in commands/pr.rs and commands/pr/publication.rs are in files this change does not touch.

Known limitations

  • The attention-order test covers the new reason and its suppression. No test renders the Needs You list with an unresolved record, so the rendered label has not been checked by a component test.
  • The reason appears only when an unresolved PR-creation record exists. Confirmed failures keep their existing wording.
  • Hosted CI is the authoritative result for this branch. Confirm it on this PR before marking it ready.

A Task in Human Review with an undecided arrival is now asked for its
review even when an older pull request creation has an unresolved outcome.
The unresolved outcome is then shown ahead of a confirmed pull request
failure, so an attempt whose answer is unknown is never described as a
confirmed failure to create the pull request.

The order is stage-dependent and unchanged elsewhere: failures, pending
integrations, and delivery in flight keep their existing precedence, and
worker recovery is still checked before attention facts.
The integration precedence doc now states the exception for an undecided
arrival, and the order table pins that row.

`approve(create_pr: false)` starts the delivery marker before recording the
approval, then returns without starting a PR operation. A concurrent
`get_attention_summary` call therefore hides `PR creation outcome unknown` while
the approval-only call is in progress. This can temporarily remove an
already-approved task from the backend Needs You summary.

Keep the marker before `record_approval` when `create_pr` is true. That
preserves active-PR suppression and the existing deletion-safety ordering.

Walkthrough

The change adds PrCreateUnconfirmed to the attention reasons and adds a flag for unresolved PR creation to attention facts. The attention rules report this reason when delivery is idle, while preserving precedence for failures, pending integrations, and undecided Human Review outcomes. Task models pass the flag to the shared rules. Tests cover persistence and precedence. The attention list displays the new reason with a fuchsia chip style.

Full details: Persistent State Integrity

Explanation

PASS: The pull request does not add a production persistence mutation. The changed backend and frontend production code only reads pr_create_unconfirmed and derives attention or presentation data. The added assignments occur only in tests, including local round-trip fixtures. No changed code reports persistence success, publishes state after a failed write, or performs a read-modify-write that could overwrite newer state.

Full details: Recoverable Resource Lifecycle

Explanation

PASS: The pull request does not change cleanup, worktree, migration, or resource-destruction lifecycle code. Production changes only read Task::pr_create_unconfirmed in needs_you and expose an attention reason. The PR and unconfirmed-record lifecycle commands are unchanged. The assignments that clear the field occur only in tests, so this change does not clear a persisted reference or remove a recovery path.

Full details: Platform Boundary Safety

Explanation

PASS. The pull request changes only shared attention logic, task-model field propagation, UI styling, and tests. The added lines use portable Rust, Serde, chrono, and existing model types. The diff adds no Unix/Windows APIs, target-specific modules, platform dependencies, or new build configuration. The shared slashit-attention crate remains dependency-light and is documented as compiling for both native and WASM targets. No evident cross-platform compile failure is introduced.

Register the delivery marker only for PR creation.

approve(create_pr: false) starts the delivery marker before recording the approval, then returns without starting a PR operation. A concurrent get_attention_summary call therefore hides PR creation outcome unknown while the approval-only call is in progress. This can temporarily remove an already-approved task from the backend Needs You summary.

Keep the marker before record_approval when create_pr is true. That preserves active-PR suppression and the existing deletion-safety ordering.

Confirmed. During an approval-only call (create_pr: false), the delivery marker is registered before the approval is recorded, so get_attention_summary can omit the "PR creation outcome unknown" reason until that call returns. The effect is transient and display-only: nothing is persisted from the marker, and the marker does not replace the Project-deletion protection, which holds through the Task lease and the checkout refusal. Protection for PR creation (create_pr: true) is unchanged.

Decision: defer the correction. No change is made in this PR, so the approved head stays as reviewed. The conditional marker suggested here is a candidate fix and has not been applied or tested. This thread stays open as a documented deferred finding, and the follow-up is recorded in the engineering ledger.

@shingonoide Understood. The finding remains open as deferred. The conditional delivery marker is an untested candidate fix, not a change in this PR.

Thanks for clarifying the deletion protection. The Task lease and checkout refusal provide that protection; the delivery marker does not replace it.
