RAM Specific Capabilities

RAM Structural System is used for gravity takeoffs, composite beam design, and more. The Toolkit specifically caters to RAM's focused application in the engineering process. Functionality is summarized below:

Things RAM_Toolkit Can Do

• Read a RAM model and translate walls, floors, framing, and columns into BHoM objects.
• Translate finished analysis models into other software such as Revit with RAM analysis data (studs, camber, etc).
• Create a RAM model from scratch with framing, columns, walls, and floors to begin analysis.

Things RAM_Toolkit Cannot Do

• Create a model with sloped floors and roofs (Planned for future development, low priority)
• Freeform or complex geometry (RAM is not an appropriate application for these structures)
