Summary

  • Set the minimum Node.js version to 22.23.4 in the root package.
  • Update 24 GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines configurations to select Node.js >=22.23.4, replacing legacy npm setup where applicable.
  • Use tsx to run TypeScript tests under ESM and increase the test timeout to 15 seconds.
  • Fix the locale-link rejection assertion and improve Windows .NET mocking and Python executable discovery in local-validation tests.
  • Update the lockfile and corresponding generated locale-test artifacts.

Validation

  • TypeScript type-check passed: npm run tsc -- --noEmit.
  • Full test suite passed: 83 passing, 2 optional integration tests pending.
  • All 24 modified CI YAML files parsed successfully.
  • git diff --check passed.

Notes

  • The Node.js range permits newer major versions; it is not restricted to Node.js 22.

  • Local verification ran on Windows with Node.js 26.12.1. Hosted Linux CI verification remains pending.
