typescript: a JSX tag imported through export { default as X } from reaches nothing when that default is memo() or defineComponent() #1760
Symptom: a JSX tag imported through a barrel that re-exports a module's default (export { default as X } from "./x") reaches nothing when that default is a wrapped component (memo(function …), defineComponent({ setup })). A plain export default function through the same barrel resolves, and so does the wrapped default imported directly.
Expected: Root → MemoDefault → leaf, as with import MemoDefault from "./memodefault". Actual: "no chain of resolved calls"; the tag site is ambiguous_unknown. Same for export default defineComponent({ setup }) and for export { default } from.
Consolidated into #1585, which tracks this issue together with related ones about TypeScript typing and entry points: callbacks, object-literal functions, enums, JSX and package exports. The description and reproduction here still apply, and the fix for the group covers them.
