Skip FOSS Pod sign-in tests in the SaaS edition - #140
ANKOLE_EDITION=saas mix test failed 10 FOSS tests in agentbull/saas#15. The failures also reproduce with the internals on saas main. Internals f4b089d moved Pod and OAuth sign-in to the accounts host on purpose, but these tests still expect the FOSS flow. They were hidden earlier because the OIDC fixture failed first (fixed in #139).
What
Tag the FOSS-only Pod sign-in tests :foss_sign_in: three Pod chooser tests, the select_account chooser test, and the Pod content browser E2E (it signs in with Pod email OTP, which the SaaS edition disables). test_helper.exs excludes the tag when the edition is :saas.
The upstream OIDC login tests compare the resume path and query. The SaaS edition returns the same path on the absolute Pod origin, so these tests still run in both editions.
Document the exclusion in CONTRIBUTING and add changelog version 2.1.0-alpha.4.
Validation
FOSS: the 4 changed test files, 48 passed, 0 excluded.
SaaS (internals c8a5add): the same files, 43 passed, 5 excluded.
SaaS with an internals test path loaded too: the exclusion still applies after the internals test_helper.exs runs.
Not run: the full mix test suite in either edition.
The SaaS edition signs in on the accounts host, so the FOSS Pod chooser,
select_account, and Pod email sign-in tests do not apply there. Tag them
:foss_sign_in and exclude the tag when ANKOLE_EDITION=saas. The upstream
OIDC login tests compare the resume path and query, so they pass with the
absolute Pod origin that the SaaS edition returns.

Walkthrough
The test setup excludes tests tagged :foss_sign_in when the edition is SaaS. Pod sign-in tests receive that tag. Upstream OIDC login tests parse redirect URLs and check the resume path and oauth_request query. The changelog adds a release entry for Version 2.1.0-alpha.4.

Pod sign-in tests receive the :foss_sign_in tag. SaaS test setup excludes tests with that tag. Contributor instructions describe the exclusion and SaaS sign-in host.
Two upstream login tests parse redirects and check the resume path and oauth_request query. The changelog adds a dated entry that says “Internal changes only.”
AgentBull/ankole#126: Updates Vite origin handling for local Pod hosts in both editions. This PR marks Pod sign-in tests as FOSS-only for SaaS test runs.
