Full-screen countdown timer for WorldSkills Shanghai 2026.
Live site: https://adiro-san.github.io/Countdown-timers/
index.html is a small landing page that links the three.
Open a page in a browser and press F11 for full screen. The layout scales to the viewport, so it works on anything from a laptop to a wall-mounted display.
Each page is fully self-contained — fonts, logos and artwork are embedded, and nothing is fetched from the internet. The HTML file can be opened directly too, no server needed. The countdown reads the clock of the machine it is displayed on.
The site is plain static HTML published from the repository root by
.github/workflows/pages.yml on every push to main.
Settings → Pages → Build and deployment → Source: GitHub Actions.
After that, pushing to main redeploys automatically; the workflow can also be run by hand from
the Actions tab.
.nojekyll keeps GitHub from running the files through Jekyll, so they are served exactly as
committed.
