Over the years, I've worked across different domains, but the problems that keep me interested are remarkably similar: complex systems with lots of moving parts, where business rules, scale, reliability, and edge cases all collide.
That's where I enjoy working — designing architectures, untangling complexity, and building systems that are simple to use and boring to operate.
Good systems are boring to operate. The excitement belongs in the product, not the pager.
Edge cases are the product. The happy path is just where you start.
