The dev proxy now sends the target's own Host and presents the target's origin in the Origin and Referer headers. Pulp checks these on requests that change data after a browser sign-in, so sign-in, reads, logout and writes work through the dev server against an https Pulp. The proxy adds no credential and keeps TLS verification of the target on. DEV_HOST selects the bind address (default unchanged).

Without the rewrite every state-changing session call is answered 403; with it the remote session and create end-to-end tests pass through the dev server.

The README now documents install and build on macOS and Linux, running the dev server against any Pulp (API_PROXY, DEV_HOST, NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS), unit tests, the Playwright smoke and remote projects, and the git hooks.
