…Windows installer technology Version and update UX - Publish stamps the release version into the program (dotnet publish -p:Version); settings shows it without the build metadata, and 0.0.0-dev for other builds. - UpdateChecks owns one UpdateState (checking, downloading with progress, ready, up to date with time, failed with reason, unsupported, off). Settings > Models shows it with check/restart/download-page actions; the tray item opens it. - A copy not installed by an installer no longer reports "latest": it says it cannot update itself and links to the download page. Windows packaging - The .msi is built by Velopack (vpk pack --msi, per user) like Setup.exe, so it updates itself the same way. The hand-made WiX project, PackMsi and the wix tool are removed. - User data moves out of %LocalAppData%\LiveLingo, which Velopack empties on install and uninstall, to %LocalAppData%\AGIBuild\LiveLingo. UserData is the single definition of the data folder; UserDataMigration renames settings and models over on first start. Co-authored-by: Copilot <223556219+Copilot@users.noreply.github.com>

Stamps the release version, adds an update status row (progress/result/unsupported), builds the Windows .msi with Velopack so it self-updates, removes the WiX project, and moves Windows user data out of Velopack's install root (it is emptied on install/uninstall). Local gate: ./build.sh Test green, 0 warnings. The --msi pack step is only verifiable on a Windows runner; a v2.1.1-rc.1 pre-release rehearses it before merge.
