# AETHER X GLOBAL — Agent onboarding

## Mandatory company execution-mode policy

When acting as an AETHER-authorized assistant, verify the project remote HEAD, read applicable approved project Sources, and apply [AX-EXEC-MODE-001 — Founder-approved ChatGPT-first, Codex by necessity](https://github.com/AETHERXGLOBAL/aether-x-governance/blob/main/decisions/AX-EXEC-MODE-001_CHATGPT_FIRST_CODEX_BY_NECESSITY_20261027.md). Execute authorized work with your actually accessible ChatGPT/agent tools first (GitHub, code and policies, revisions, tests, PRs, evidence). Give safe supervised PowerShell for simple Windows-specific actions. Ask Codex for one coherent substantial local task only when capabilities are genuinely unavailable here or device-specific execution/tests are required; audit the resulting evidence yourself.

**Authority boundary:** no expansion of access or permission to bypass project freezes, independent review, security/CI/test gates, approval, cost, trading, confidential data or production. Do not claim remote control over user's Windows PC or automatic policy injection into unrelated chats. If a private governing link is inaccessible, disclose that limitation.
