Bug description

When the empty message field is swiped up or down, the field scrolls and the 'Message' placeholder text becomes slightly off-centre after swiping upwards.

Steps to reproduce

• Open any chat
• Swipe up or down on empty message field (can be selected or unselected)

Actual result:
Message field scrolls up and down despite being empty.

When the message field hasn't reached the scrollable threshold (i.e. the message fits within the screen height), the field should not scroll. Swiping down should hide the keyboard instead. Swiping up should not cause the "Message" placeholder text to appear slightly off-centre.
