The objects inventory (objects.inv) is not available anymore

Hello,

Intersphinx uses the objects inventory for cross documentation links.

Previously it was located at http://pyseq.rsgalloway.com/objects.inv but is now unreachable.

I tried https://pyseq.dev/objects.inv without success.

Is it possible to make it accessible again ?

I am unfamiliar with the github actions so I can not be of any help.

Thanks for reporting this, I wasn't aware that anyone was consuming the Sphinx objects.inv directly.

The old documentation at pyseq.rsgalloway.com was generated with Sphinx from the gh-pages branch. I recently replaced that site with the new documentation at pyseq.dev, which is generated using mkpages/Jekyll, and objects.inv disappeared as an unintended side effect.

I'd like to preserve Intersphinx compatibility. I still have the old Sphinx configuration, so I should be able to add a CI build that generates the API docs and objects.inv alongside the new site, probably exposing the inventory at:

https://pyseq.dev/objects.inv

I'll use this issue to track restoring that.

and the sphinx api reference docs at:

https://pyseq.dev/api/
