Thanks for asking, and sorry this sat unanswered. What you saw, the WebGPU badge on but the progress label saying WASM, was a real bug. We found the cause thanks to your report in #4: the GPU path failed every time and the app silently used the slow CPU path instead. It is fixed in 1.2.1 and still fixed in the latest release, so please update. After starting a Pro upscale, the label should show [WEBGPU] and the header badge should read "WebGPU active". In our test, one photo ran about 3 times faster. If it still shows WASM, hover over the header badge, which now shows the error, and tell us your GPU model and what it says. |
