Feature suggestion: Optional extension for automatically generaded heading id

I see that github/gitlab/bitbucket and other sites automatically generate heading ids when rendering markdown.

I understand that having custom heading ids could be complex because of attribute list processing, but I believe being able to automatically generate them is a common optional extension in many Markdown processors.

Do you think this feature is useful or viable for this repo? If not relevant, I'm sorry and feel free to close this suggestion.
