Yes. Appwrite Functions support Go runtimes, so a Gin application can be deployed as an Appwrite Function only if you adapt it to the Function request/response contract. A long-running Gin HTTP server that calls ListenAndServe is not the right shape for a Function: Appwrite invokes a handler per execution and owns the HTTP ingress/lifecycle. Practical options:
Do not start a second HTTP listener inside an Appwrite Function and expect Appwrite Cloud to route traffic to that port. The public URL invokes the function entrypoint, not your nested Gin listener. So “Go application” is supported; “unchanged long-running Gin server” is not. If you paste the current main function, it is straightforward to show which parts belong in the Appwrite handler and which middleware must move to Appwrite permissions or function code.
