Brief description of your issue
SUhelper is used to automate updates. So my script does this:
winget upgrade --unknown --all --silent --accept-source-agreements
suhelper.exe -autoupdate
But on any run, it reinstalls the suhelper, as it identifies itself as an older version (1.0.0.22), also the newest had been installed. Even after an upgrade, the version remains the old one.
PS C:\Users\printerdeby> winget list lenovo.suhelper
Name ID Version Verfügbar Quelle
----------------------------------------------------------------------
SUHelper version 1.0.0.22 Lenovo.SUHelper 1.0.0.22 10.2501.15.0 winget
PS C:\Users\printerdeby>
Steps to reproduce
winget install lenovo.suhelper
- Repeat until the latest version is installed:
winget upgrade lenovo.suhelper
- You will never reach this step.
Actual behavior
After upgrading to version 10.2501.15.0 it should identify as such
Expected behavior
Identifies as an older version.
Environment
Windows-Paket-Manager v1.28.220
Windows: Windows.Desktop v10.0.26200.8117
Systemarchitektur: X64
Paket: Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller v1.28.220.0
