openkal 0.12 and the seven packages that follow it
openkal 0.12.0, openkal-linux 0.11.0, openkal-macos 0.9.0, openkal-windows 0.7.0, openkal-opensbi 0.6.0, openkal-uefi 0.6.0, openkal-musl 0.13.0. The release openkal-musl 0.13.0 exists for is a defect 0.12.0 shipped: `kill(-n)` aimed at a unit the caller could not name reached the caller's OWN unit, so an enquiry about a unit that did not exist was answered *yes* and a signal aimed at one ended the caller together with everything it led. openkal 0.12 records the whole of it in clause 11 entry 9, so the next implementation meets it in the specification rather than in a program. openkal-macos 0.9.0 answers `kal_process_stop_requested` for the first time, with a signal trampoline of its own — the kernel enters `sa_tramp` rather than the handler, and there is no C library beneath to supply one. ⚠️ `openkal-libc` gains no version and gains a note instead. That descriptor stops at 0.2.0 deliberately — the package continues as `openkal-musl` — but the repository is still receiving releases at the same moments and the same commits, because the name is reached by pushing to two remotes. Nothing here resolves through those tags. Recorded so that a reader comparing this file against the repository's releases finds a statement rather than a gap.
