If you run powershell with admin rights, you will see why it's failing.

I suppose like it was happening with me you should apply "set-executionpolicy unrestricted", then run script and then "set-executionpolicy restricted" again.

The correct answer to this would be:

Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process

(-Scope process) ensures it's only allowing script execution in the current session, it would not allow you to execute any other scripts than the current process of PowerShell. Once closed, you can just continue your day as usual with normal security.

I use this in another way, as i have setup a url to my remotely .ps1 install script:

Set-ExecutionPolicy -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process; irm https://deploy.mydomain.com | iex

The ";" is basically acting as "&&" used in Linux but for Windows.

This basically sets my execution policy in this window, downloads and runs the PowerShell script for remotely and then exits the process when done.
