the only issue here is I think when I last looked into this I concluded it'd be a breaking change, so not sure if we'd want to do that yet

hey! @mohith2883 we don't run the unpic project so I'll leave it to them to review that 😄

For now I'll remove the hacktoberfest from this, as I think we'll wait to upgrade 🙏
